Business economics is a discipline established in the past for the needs of departmental management. With the development of the market economy, the departmental management system has changed. The change of the status of business economics is a matter of course; but some professors and experts who have long been engaged in the teaching and research of business economics believe that the transition of the economic system should not weaken the position of commercial economics. On the contrary, under the conditions of market economy, the importance of commercial exchange and commodity circulation activities will become more prominent, and the impact of commercial activities on the overall social and economic activities will become more obvious, so the research on business economics should be further strengthened.
